Nitro is a race surfski developed for the elite paddlers seeking maximum speed! On flat this boat is as fast as a K1 racer but its on the ocean this surfski excels. The well balanced rocker and volume distribution makes this ski a rocket in downwind, allowing the paddler to link waves and navigate with quick yet unsurprising response.

The cockpit is developed from years of feedback with a carefully shaped seat, swept back backrest, low hump and a bike bottle holder under the knees for easy access to the included NK bottle. The cutouts on the sides are designed to give a perfectly tight paddle catch. If you ask us, this is as good as it gets!

Nitro 640 CarbonLite

Why 640 and 600 length? We want to be sure that we can provide you with the best surfski for the type of paddling you are doing. Generally, if you are a lighter person you can benefit of a shorter hull and vice versa if you are a bigger person you can benefit of the longer hull. But this also comes down to your own preferences, what characteristics you like and how you want your ski to behave in different conditions? Even storage space is a factor when choosing your new ski.

If you are 95 kg 2 m, your natural option would be the longer hull and if you are 60 kg 160 cm you likely choose the shorter. But between those you can choose depending on what characteristics you like. Of course if you are the bigger person choosing the shorter hull it will sit slightly deeper in the water and opposite for the lighter person choosing the longer hull it will float slightly higher.

Note: all NK skis are made with prepreg and autoclave technique, a process often used for the space industry and F1 cars(and NK surfskis), the high pressure(up to 4 x atmosphere pressure) and heat from the autoclave together with the pre-impregnated carbon fibers gives an unmatched lamination of composite creating an extraordinary light yet strong construction, not comparable with other techniques normally used for kayaks such as vacuum infusion or other hand lay-up processes.
